Why be COACHED BY Jason McDowell?
I’ve been there.
I spent the first half of my life hiding from experiences, afraid to take risks, and struggling to interact with others. I had big dreams and goals for my life and what I wanted it to look like, but I could never get there. When I moved across the country in 2013 for a career change, I decided to get serious about really and truly participating in life, and figuring out what I needed to change. I started digging into books, podcasts, sermons, videos, and anything else I could find to get unstuck from the habits and tendencies I’d wired into my brain for so long. As an aerospace engineer, I want to understand how things work, including my own brain. I thrive on detailed analysis and organization, so I got to work collecting, processing, analyzing, streamlining, and applying the information I consumed. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.
I learned the science behind what works.
Through my personal journey, I’ve learned the science behind brain change, as well as the strategies that really work. I didn’t just want a list of tips, I wanted to understand why certain things worked and why others didn’t, and how it fit into the bigger picture. I used these strategies on myself to expand my comfort zone, take more risks, and push myself to be the best version of myself. Along the way, I started offering some of these strategies and concepts to my friends and family and I watched their lives change and improve as well. It was then I realized how much I enjoyed helping others reach their potential, and how my own experiences helped me to be able to do that. I’ve been through it, so I can help you through it too.
I want to share these strategies with you and walk with you through overcoming fears, tuning your mindset, achieving your goals, and living your greatest adventure. I’ve spent seven years studying and developing these concepts and have developed a thorough knowledge of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, neuroplasticity, meditation, goal setting, long-term habit formation, and much more. Let’s work together to train your brain and develop strategies to become the best version of you.

Step 1

We’ll reach out to you to set up your free 45-minute discovery session (in-person or via the internet).
Step 3
In the discovery session, we’ll talk about what you’re looking for and if I’m a good match to help you on that journey. We’ll talk about the frequency of coaching sessions, level of support, and any other details to get the ball rolling.
Step 4
We’ll meet at a pace that works best to achieve your goals and fits your schedule. I’ll develop strategies and give you tools to enable your success.
Step 5
I’ll probably give you homework between sessions! But no worries, this homework is going to be life-changing and help you become the best version of yourself.
Step 6
Results. Things like mindset don’t change overnight, but they do change over time. I can’t promise you an instant cure for any ailment, but I promise that, working together, we’ll get you moving towards being the best version of you.

Full Support
Warning: This section is only for those who are really set on achieving their dreams. This is full-time support. Work with me throughout the month to keep you moving forward on your goals. Check-in with me on what’s going well and what’s not going well, and how you can improve. This is the best way to make a lot of progress fast, without having to wait until your next coaching session. We’ll still meet for regular sessions in-person, online, or over the phone at your desired pace to really deep dive into your next steps.
